Response to brief

The brief seems exciting , the front page and double page spread is something i look forward to making. I have not used a mac before but i do find it easy to use . Some ideas i have is taking a magazine that has a target audience for an older generation and making it into something that people of the younger generation would read and find appealing.

Premlimary brief : using DTP and an image manipulation program , produce the front page of a new school /college magazine , featuring a photograph of a student in medium close - up plus some appropriately laid - out text and a masthead. additionally candidates must produce a DTP mock of the lay layout of the contents page to demonstrate their grasp of  the program. 

Main : the front page , contents and double page spread of a new music magazine.
